Pilgrimages and devotion.

Since 1506 Holy Face Sanctuary is destination of pilgrims coming from all sides of Italy and foreign countries.
Researchers, theologians, philosophers, writers, artists, learned men, ecclastical and political personages stood, deeply affected, in front of the sacred Image.
This Sanctuary, as the others, is “a place of conversions, making peace with God in an oasis of peace” (Giovanni Paolo II), “station and clinic for the soul” (Paolo VI”).
For Info or booking a successful pilgrimage to the Sanctuary we suggest you to contact the pilgrims' office every day from 9 to 12 a.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
The pilgrims' office offers this service info /booking on line or by tel / fax to satisfy in a better way the pilgrims' requirements.
This service refers mainly to groups and permits to manage the visits to the Sanctuary and make them serene and in an orderly way.
To utilize the service info/booking on line it is necessary to be registered as Users in the special area of the website (see the end of this page).
